Brownswood cast their net over 14 fine and thoroughly up-to-date electronic funk productions of all shades from DJG, Synkro & Indigo, Jus Wan, Funk Ethics, HxdB, Stray, Monky, Ta-ku, DJ Dials, and more. Highlights have to Synkro & Indigo's mid-tempo Garage excursion 'Knowing You' and Stray's highly crafty consolidaion of Footwork and D&B modes on 'Break Your Legs', which is actually slicker than the title infers. We'd also have to big up Jack Dixon's heart-racing House number 'By My Side', and the beautifully tailored minimalism of Jus Wan's 'Miles Away', while elsewhere you'll find melodic, flighty D&B from Frederic Robinson, techy Garage calculations from Funk Ethics, lurching Dubstep from DJG and seductively warm electronic House by Anenon.
