Nick Dunton is best known as half of UK techno stalwarts 65D Mavericks. Following the untimely death of 65D's Richard Polson he carries their spirit on in style with two tracks of the deepest, moodiest techno. 'Oikumene (65000 Leagues Mix)' structures majestically stormy, grey skied chords over throbbing aquatic pulses comparable to Monolake or recent Sandwell District moves, while 'Echoes From The Deep (Submersion Mix)' is a more sublime composition of drowned bass currents and widescreen, cinematic synths with engrossing emotive potential.
