Two tracks of discombulated disco and fractal 8-bit bump 'n grind on Belgium's Vlek Records. Belgian native, Cupp Cave sounds like a soggy ESG on 'Coke Owls', soiled and saggy bottom end bobbling under punk funky drums and twinkling bells. In contrast, Dem Hunger's 'Squint Fucker' weaves canny samples into a micro-organic avant-R&B zone-out, drawing us closer and closer into a miniature world of small sounds as his rhythms dissolve into scurrying 8-bit data codes.
