duplex - Until Now
Veterans of the Rotterdam electro-techno scene initiate Frustrated Funk's sister label, Harbour City Sorrow. The sprawling 'Until Now' takes 10 minutes to weave its charms, blazing a comtrail from beautiful Detroit synth pads through heavy rocking and downpitched electro rhythms to an arresting closing sequence of Vangelis-style synth arcs and cascading arpeggiations. 'Memory Lane' is more subdued and spectral but still with the heavy sci-fi vibes for a terrific late-night cruising electro roller.
