Brutalist concrete collages from the inimitable and uncompromising Yellow Tears. 'The Cult Of Yellow Tears' features four tracks of truly disturbing/disturbed acousmatic sampledelia taken from their hugely limited 7" of the same title for Hospital Productions. There's a recurring theme of gargled voices which appear in each track, sounding like the mangled recording of some extreme bukkake waterboarding session, spliced with deeply unsettling industrial atmospheres and fractal electro-acoustic manipulations in 'Remnant Of Humanity Bead Off Our Skin' and really explored to the most unnerving degrees in the two final pieces. If you're of an open-minded sonic persuasion this is highly recommended!
