Pavan is Frans Carlqvist (aka Limonious), head of premier Swedish Skweee outlet, Flogsta Danshall. 'Holy Volt' is his debut album of nine squirming electronic funk joints including the debut single 'Punt Kick/Crank Up', and new tracks like the swaggering 'War' the arabesque 8-bit curls of '7 to 4', the raw and fizzy zig-zag rhythms of 'Afrika' and the endearingly dissonant 'Buttons'. Fun times.
