Metalheadz present the Marcel Dettmann, Sigha, Kassem Mosse, and Two Armadillos remixes of Commix on one mighty handsome double pack. If you missed out the Burial 12", then bully for you, but if you're of a future Techno/House persuasion this is basically "the sh*t", as someone once said. Marcel Dettmann and Sigha share the first plate, contrasting nicely with Sigha's elegiac Tech-House mix of 'She's Still Smiling' on one side, and Dettmann's sub-rumbling and shifty Techno version of 'Satellite Type 2' on t'other. On the second disc Kassem Mosse clearly relishes the opportunity to work with Metalheadz, dropping cheeky halfspeed samples from Goldie's 'Inner City Life' into a gangster-jacking House heavyweight - probably one of his greatest moments to date, and that's saying something. Two Armadillos aka Gilles Smith and Martin Dawson complete the pack with a relatively pedestrian yet luxurious Deep House remix of 'Spectacle'. For the Dettmann and Kassem Mosse tracks alone, this is a total peach. TIP!
