Brownswood come correct with a fifteen track survey of the current beats scene, squaring off minimal D'n'B, Funky, Dubstep and garage from the likes of Rockwell, Pearson Sound, Mosca, 16 Bit and Mount Kimbie. To our knowledge this is the first time a lot of these tracks have appeared in unmixed form on a CD, so it's your first chance to cop thrillers like Mosca's 'Square One', Rockwell's slick twyster 'Underpass' and Pearson Sound's 'Wad'. The selector behind the disc obviously knows his beans, also drawing for exclusive freshness like Elephno's glowing house ride 'Let Me Love You Forever', the Joy Orb-alike 'Painted Jezebel' by George Fitzgerald and the fluttering bounce of Hypno's 'Over The Top', next to hiphop groovers like the Low Limit remix of Shlohmo's 'Antigravity' and Devonwho's 'Whispers'.
