Uncompromising techno reductions from John Mendez aka Silent Servant. This man provided one of the best releases on the label last year with the resolutely industrial 'The Blood Of Our King', followed up here with two stone cold club killers to soundtrack your next bosch session. On the A-side 'Discipline' rolls out with dry and hypnotic patterns spooked by Sleeparchive/Function/Mika Vainio-esque bleeps and a sliver of droning ambient textures strongly reminding us of the ferric overload on Kevin Drumm's 'Imperial Distortion'. 'Demonstration' on the flip is a tougher peak time track based around body jacking NYC technohouse handclaps and spacious dub chords to sound like Levon Vincent in evil mode. Killer tracks for fans of Dettmann, Horizontal Ground or Don't Resist The Beat records
