elias linn - Hellersdorf Translations Vol. 2
Electro and dubstep twisted dancefloor depth from Elias Linn backed with three remixes from Ytac. There's no simple category for Linn's original eleven minute mix of 'Hellersdorf', a slow and low drag roller plumped with overweight kicks and a deeper electrohouse vibe like Other People Place on Qaaludes. The first two of Ytac's mixes draw for the upper end of dubstep with spacious, subs driven rhythm structures pocked with airhorns, cosmic boogie synth wipes and technoid stabs, the second even layered with deep tripping raga-esque drones. His third sounds like Cane and Urban Tribe battling in the mix, fixing fast and heavy pulses with surging rave vibes to make you go for it.
