Neverest Songs is the alias of multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Luke Twyman. This EP takes his track 'Calculator' and serves up a host of alternate mixes. The original is characterised by a flurry of piano keys and a building sense of minor-key drama. This leaves plenty of scope for remodelling, and the Brassica remix charges ahead with a thumping, electroid hip-hop remix which works a treat. More impressive still is the Four Tet-like, gamelan laden beat re-shuffling of the Bleeding Heart Narrative Version, which nicely reframes the vocal.
