kloke - Emanate
Latest release on the Entrada imprint, a label that's carved out a nice niche for itself with a kind of IDM-indebted variant of bass music. Kloke make a more complex and emotionally charged kind of Dubstep, something thats evident immediately on opener "Emanate" with its cinematic strings and evocative vocal samples. "Acid Rain" is more choppy and traditional, but the padded low-end and shimmering keys keep Kloke nicely removed from the rave dubstep school and entrenched in something altogether more warm and percolated.
