Charming hiphop and post-garage driven electronica from Gold Panda backed with complemetary remixes from Dem Mantle and Minotaur Shock. His original 'You' refines the method of chopped vox and eastern influences from last years 'Quitters Raga', delivering an uplifting filip of dance sweetness with heavy slow disco drums. 'Before We Talked' could be described as post-garage in that it skips and flexes, but there's something a little more complex and crafty going on, like Four Tet sliced by SND maybe? Dem Mantle provides a shoegazey chopped & screwed mix and Minotaur Shock gives a swinging Balearic 'tronica version. Recommended.
