Yes, you read correctly. This is Steve Moore of Zombi and countless collaborations, appearing on Kompakt's Speicher series! To be fair, it's not that much of a surprise, as he's always worn a love of European synth music proudly on his sleeve, but still?! 'Bayern Kurve' is a superb derivé for the synth maestro, keeping matters restrained and minimal with a throbbing bass arpeggiation and thudding vintage kicks providing the base for economical keys and brooding, overcast atmospherics paying tribute to the Munich school of Giorgio Moroder. On the flip Maxime Dangles keeps up to date with the big-room shunt of 'Bras De Zil' but you know which side's going to be played round these parts. Aces!
