As part of outré hip-hop experimentalists Food For Animals and psyche f*nk outfit Beautiful Swimmers, Andrew Field-Pickering is a busy guy. Factor in his work as Maxmillion Dunbar for Ramp and his own Future Times imprint and the man also known as Vulture Voltaire has an impressive CV. Working as Maxmillion on the 'Bare Feet EP' he takes large cues from the psyched beats of DJ Screw to cross from shiny boogie-soul to disco and even proto-Chicago house with a distinctly idiosyncratic sheen and purposefully pitching wonk. The 'Bare Feet' Ep should definitely appeal to fans of BoC, Zomby, DJ Screw, Dâm Funk or even Chip E, honestly!! Ace.
