Two woofer troublers from Kromestar dropping heavy on his Southside recordings imprint. While we were surprised this week to hear a rumour that Kromestar is dabbling in Funky under a different alias, you can rest assured that there's nowt jazzy, sexy or syncopated about this platter. 'Bassbin' is the more deadly of the two, pushing down into the nether frequencies to give your subs a workout with lurching slow-steppers rhythms. 'Late' on the flip wrestles with a mid-range synthline and layers of scissoring hi-hats to give that double timed flex. Dutty goods for the dubstep rave.
