The ever intriguing Young Turks imprint provide their second release from the marvelous El Guincho this week with his 'Antillas' cut remixed by Architecture In Helsinki, Prins Thomas and Bass Clef. It's bloody hard not to like the original, as it sounds like Animal Collective cutting loose with Os Mutantes on a blazing sunny day. Architecture In Helsinki opt to take the track for a jerky electro-pop meets Hi-Life mooch, while Prins Thomas picks out the banjo motif and runs for the disco hills, leaving Bass Clef to work out a springy garage/funky version sounding like TRG meets Panda Bear. Happy days!
