low limit / mr dibiase - Producer 2 Part 2
Fat City keep some pressure on it with the latest in their ongoing 7" 'Producer' series. We've never heard of either artist this time but can assure you they're a healthy match for anything swimming out there in the instro-hiphop pool. Low Limit's 'Inspirational Jumpsuit' is all about the super-low sub bumps that keep the track reeling in the right direction like dabrye after a couple of cheeky 8-Bit vimtos. Add this to the arpeggiated synthlines and heavily compressed filter techniques and you've got a reet little winner. On the flip Mr Dibiase's 'May The Force' baits the authorities with mega naughty samples carved into a proper Dilla style beatwork designed to destroy hiphop floors and heads everywhere. Buff up your Nu-era hats, dis one's a nodder!
