For those that don't know, the first installment of the Beat Dimensions series introduced much of the world to beats from Hudson Mohawke, FLYamSAM, and Cinnaman. This is the second plate from the followup installment to the series and includes heavyweight killers compiled by Cinnaman & Jay Scarlett including cuts from Samiyam, Dorian Concept, Fulgeance, Dimlite and Dizz1. Keeping the quality consistently high, Samiyam's 'Swamp Tarts' rumbles like a bugger with murky 8-Bit synthlines squeezed into place around leaden slow hip-hop, and Dimlite fiddles with the time signatures on 'Ravemond's Young Problems' to shock your neck into spasmodic nods. The best track however comes from Dorian Concept with 'Be Tween', sounding like a pile of our favourite producers from AFX to BoC to Hecker tangled into a proper cosmic winner that's blown the competition out of the water. Killer!
