ital tek - Massive Error EP
The Return of Ital Tek with a varied 5-tracker for the Mu, headed out by a title track deployed in a nicely darkened-up Wonky style, all lazer synths and grimey textures with one eye firmly on trend. "Snowburst" is up next and utilises a much sweeter palette with a spacious, classic Artificial Intelligence heart beating at the core of a classic Ovuca-style melody, while "Strange Love" ends the side with a technofied low-end hybrid executed with considerable panache. Over on the flip 'Octa" employs a jittery, steppy fomrula to another sweetened IDM template, leaving "Ghost Cloud" to end the twelve with a slightly dubbier rendition complete with another fabulously spacious arrangement. Delicious little twelve, perfectly bridging the old and the new in electronic music.
