Volume 5 of the comprehensive B12 reissue series looks to the duo's output as Redcell from 1993 and also includes some of the earliest and now classic productions from Steve Pickton aka Stasis. The first CD includes the stirring broken techno of 'Interim', the spectral experimentalism of 'One Thing In Mind', the epic 'Soundtrack Of Fear' and the awesome darkside electro of 'Solar Winds' amongst others, while the second CD looks to the work of Stasis. Steve Pickton's Stasis project began on Peacefrog and is responsible for some all time techno classics, including this gem on B12, originally released in 1993. The' Point Of No Return' 12" is digitised and loaded up here for a new generation to sink their minds deep in and hopefully deliver another dose of tangible spine chills to a raft of younguns reared on souless minimal and electro house. Both discs include rare and unreleased exclusives making this utterly indispensable and for our money the best in the series so far. Essential Purchase.
