A pioneering force within the Russian noise scene of the 1980s, Alexei Borisov released this one-track, thirty-minute composition via N&B Research Digest in 2002, though its classic tape-based electronics feel means it really could have come from any era. Shortwave sounds intermingle with wild modulated gestures and prolonged, clinical noise tones across a shifting narrative that shows plenty of restraint whilst knowing when and where to cut loose for a more frenzied assault on the ears. There's a severe, analogue and collage-oriented feel to all this and fans of labels like No Fun and Hospital Productions will no doubt find its rawness alluring...
