It seems odd to think that a band as large in number (there are 16 of them) should be cramming themselves onto such a modestly proportioned release, but nonetheless, the transatlantic ensemble check in with a nine-minute string-soaked epic in four parts, with a line-up boasting musicians who've previously performed with Broken Social Scene, Do Make Say Think, Bat For Lashes and Spiritualized. In fact, Will Carruthers, formerly of Spacemen 3 not only plays bass in the group, but claims the other 'side' of this split release, firing off two abstract electronic songs. The first, 'All Moon' has a vibrant, droning core and fractured vocals that are entirely in keeping with the beatless space rock drift that surrounds them. Finally, 'Davy Love's Locker' presents some out of whack dub-styled rhythms and filtered ambient effects, rounding off a solid release.
