This cracking Awkward Silence split release, combines the talents of Morr Music alumnus Jonas Munk (of Manual fame) and Karl Enreson (aka Orange Crush). Both artists would seem to share a love of all things dream-pop, and the Manual tracks are underpinned by those distinctive chorus and delay-drenched guitars, with 'Miraparque' harkening back to those early Morr LPs while 'Ponderosa' has more in common with the ethereal, beatless ambience of more recent releases. Orange Crush takes a leaf out of Ulrich Schnauss' book, conjuring a terrifically atmospheric, almost anthemic instrumental out of 'A New Horizon' before both artists team up for the hazy, epic splendour of 'Calderone' - like Boards Of Canada soundtracking Miami Vice.
