A reissue of Unhome's debut album, A Short History Of Houses was originally released in 1999. The band's legacy is continued today by Alexander Tucker, a one-time member of the group and all-round respected practitioner of avant-rock. The Unhome sound might best be accounted for as a proto-post-rock mish mash of styles, all bound together by an explosive, experimental delivery that shifts from jagged, Slint-stlye tension builders to all-out noise haemorrhages.
