Boomkat product review for:

the underdog (trevor jackson) - Underdogs Greatest Bits Volume Two

**Gatefold slipcase. Hand-numbered edition of 500** For a while, Trevor Jackson's Underdog remixes were near ubiquitous. His beats and bass heavy hip hop mixes were loaded on the B-sides of records by everyone from Massive Attack to House Of Pain and U2, and many of them appear here. It's a bit of a blast from the past actually, serving 25 reminders of a bygone era that's really not so fashionable nowadays, but still holds up as fine and smoked-out beats. If we're picking highlights from this second volume we're straight for that Sabres Of Paradise mix with the rudeboy ragga-hop twist, and equally his D&B spin on Massive Attack's 'Teardrop' or his take on Thom Yorke's 'Rabbit In Your Headlights'.
