Fear Of Flying reach out with their first LP, also the the debut album from Dutch producer Ivan Tetelepta. Deep, smokin' house music is explored in eight low slung grooves (ten on the CD) all denoted by their BPMs either from laziness or 'cause it's all about the music maan. It's a dope set, gradually, organically easing the tempo up through from dubbed-out and swinging red-light cruisers through mystic disco moments and minimalist funk chops peppered with sitar licks, onto strident, New York-sounding house and one excellent breakbeat swagger. Dim the lights and make your room smell nice, get a wiggle on.
