To be honest, it wasn't until recently, around the time of his Blueprint 12" and definitely his last couple for Hotflush, that we really started to see his appeal, or what everyone else was badgering on about. But, we've got stronger feelings for this accomplished set of sleek modernist techno tunes, especially those that break with the stodgy monotony and really give your body something to do. And that's at least half of the set, giving highlights on the pendulous verve of 'Dressing For Pleasure (Ideal)' and its darker counterpart 'Dressing For Ecstasy (Extract)', in the tempered euphoria of 'She Kills in Ecstasy' and the densely layered drone kiss-off 'Aokigahara'.
