Lavish new album from a much loved post-classical/atmospheric-pop ensemble. It's now four years since their last LP, 'With Our Arms Wide Open We March Towards The Burning Sea', in which time they've toured UK and Europe heavily, refining their already pedigree feel for sweeping, epic string and choral crescendos. The material on 'The World Without Us' contains songs written over this period, including older, unreleased songs such as 'The Long Lost' and 'Of Silence' which have been evolved and reworked over the years by core duo Elly May Irving and Richard Knox, beside newer songs hatched and completed recently between their Richard's Cloud Blunt Moon Studio in Leeds, and the Magnum Diva studio of band-member Frederic D.
