Taking cues from Jeff Witscher's symphonic fusion of modern classical music and synthesizer exploration, Alex Twomy infuses his new age musings with the light twinkling of FM piano. A good point of reference might be Robert Eno (brother of Brian) or even Leyland Kirby, but Twomy layers notes with the reverberating shimmer and shine of 'Victorialand'-era Cocteau Twins, giving a balmy shine to the whole record. 'Body Moving Slowly' is the latest in Preservation's 'Circa' series, and might be the finest edition so far.
