quantec - 1000 Vacuum Tubes
On his 4th full length solo album Sven Schienhammer covers a range of House subsets under the Ambient Dub umbrella. Using a mixture of hardware and software, Quantec cycles thru plush atmospheres and skippy rhythms on 'Ayahuasca' to more typical Dub House on the title track and 'Unplumbed Depth', via more sensual, swinging House on 'Truth Maintenance' and 'Eternal Soul', taking in Rob Hood-like minimalism on 'Rank And File'.
