junior electronics (stereolab) - Musoctics
Junior Electronics is the solo work of Stereolab keyboardist and studio engineer, Joe Watson. He's previously stepped out alone on Duophonic, but this is his most substantial and best realised solo recording. 'Musotics' is a hugely charming homage to original, analogue '60s pop conducted with that all important frothy jeunesse en quoi, an impeccable measure of accordions, pianos, guitar and synth complemented by Joe's sensitive falsetto.
