This Montreal duo consists of Marie Davidson and Xarah Dion, previously to be found performing as part of Sam Shalabi's Land Of Kush orchestra. Brulez Ce Coeur is the second album from these two, following on from 2007's self-released L'Amour Sincere CD-R, and one of the key tracks here ('Solis') has been lifted from that first outing and re-recorded under studio conditions, using an array of synthesizers, violins and vocals that have an eerie, hauntingly ecclesiastical slant to them - at times recalling Fursaxa (after a bit of a kosmische makeover), Islaja's more otherworldly moments, and even some of Xela's voice-driven compositions.
