Breakneck tech-house session from the quartet of Detroit young bucks - Shaun Reeves, Seth Troxler, Lee Curtiss and Ryan Crosson - collectively known as Visionquest. Listening to this mix, it's not hard to see why they've won so many people over: they deal in taut, minimal but crucially melodic and generously swinging, bass-popping dancefloor gear. This mix has many highlights, but for us the sparse smack-house of Tin Man's 'Wasteland', Konrad's sleazily grooving 'Doodimbouttogay' and DVS1's warehouse-razing techno monster 'Polyphonic Love' particularly stand out. The likes of Carl Craig, Arik Brikha, Soul Center, STL, Tale Of Us and Green Velvet are among the other contributors, making for a suave, silky and appealingly dionysian mix.
