Ben Butler and Mousepad turned up in a few notable places during 2010, appearing on a tidy 7" for Skwee imprint Dødpop and receiving some love from the XXJFG blog who called his music "a research / development program illuminating the forbidden no mans land between opulentprog and squashedfunk virtuosities". That just about sums up 'Formed For Fantasy' in its entirety; 40 minutes of überfunked pop acrobatics, kinda like Hot Chip playing twister with Wevie Stonder and Extra Life.
