It was initially released in 1974 on the legendary Kosmiche Kuriere label, and has since been hailed by the noted Krautrock scholar, Julian Cope, as "A long Kosmiche-epic of high magic proportions" in his essential Krautrocksampler. An advocate an friend of LSD pioneer Timothy Leary, and subsequently author and politician, Sergius contributes mystical poetry to a backdrop of unfathomably wonderous music played by dazzling array of the finest players from the inner circles of Krautrock, including Witthüser & Westrupp, Klaus Schulze and ringleader Rolf-Ulrich Kaiser, all deploying Mellotron, tabla, acoustic guitar, vibraphone and more to translate their mindblown LSD visions into a form of music more suited to their language and mindset than the pop spirit of The Beatles.
