Another essential item from the world of Finders Keepers, providing a valuable preview of the forthcoming Disposable Music series of Library Music for Film, TV and radio. The presentation and execution of this series is utterly breathtaking, from the stunning music courtesy of artists including Selda Bagcan, Bruno Spoerri, Tafo Bros etc. to the impeccable artwork and precisely studied typography, it's exactly what you'd expect from this addictive group of labels. At 17 tracks deep, the disc provides a brilliant overview of the series to come, including at least one track from each of the aforementioned contributors and some exclusives you won't find on the vinyl copies, like Bruno Spoerri's marvelous 'Colours' or The Crime Sound Orchestra's 'Crime Sound No.6', besides the track that provided Madlib's original sample for Erykah Badu's life-changing 'The Healer', and spooked pastoral acoustica from S. McLoughlin's 'Supernatural Lancashire' series. But, most usefully this is the only place you'll find all this music on a digital disc, as the series is vinyl only, and particularly limited to the list of lucky souls signed up to their subscription service.
