Bringing a whole new meaning to the term Grindcore, French power techno outfit Motor hammer out an album's worth of rasping synthlines and pummeling jack beats for Shitkatapult. Recent single 'Death Rave' rears it's evil head with one of the most relentlessly overdriven slabs of EBM techno you'll hear this year, while 'Pong' gets raw with the one note stabs and sweaty cowbells, 'Schism' traps itself in an unending ascent to techno hell, 'Glu' stomps on the arpeggiated synthline functions and 'Thwack' teases the crowd to tears. Like doing loads of wizz, it gets you where you need to go, but leaves you feeling like you just been internally rinsed with a bog brush. Hard!
